We have exponentially expanded and refined our services to support, We have grown from 10 partners supporting less than 1000 people per year to 4 times that many partners in a vast collaborative that can effectively address regional needs. Working with our partners, we help address urgent living needs such as food, clothing, and housing navigation; provide afterschool and summer enrichment and academic programs; implement community support for parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers; and support vision and oral health care for K-12 students. They help support school enrollment, and build and advance family-school engagement and school attendance. The Family Center also supervises extended-day afterschool programs at NHUSD sites. In the past two years we have provided nearly 8 million pounds of food, serving more than 450 families monthly. Since 2019, we have been identified as one of the largest school food distributors in Alameda County. We also offer other hygiene, annual school supplies, and a clothing pantry.
